WORKSHOPS AT CULTIVATE
Our classes take place in our intimate, artist-led studio in East London, where making, experimentation and conversation shape everyday studio life. Cultivate is a small community of artists, each with their own approach to clay and materials. We teach with the emphasis that there is no single way to work with clay. Whether you are new to ceramics, developing existing skills, or seeking to deepen your practice, we adapt to different levels of experience and ways of learning. Small groups allow space for questions, experimentation, mistakes and individual guidance. Rather than following a rigid method, we encourage you to explore the material yourself, supported by the knowledge of the leading artist.

Our programme ranges from introductory Taster Workshops to in-depth Advanced Workshops and intensive Masterclasses with industry professionals and contemporary ceramic practitioners. The studio is a place for open exchange: ideas, techniques and approaches are shared in an informal, curious and collaborative atmosphere. You are not simply attending a class but stepping into a working artists’ studio, joining a small group learning and making together. We aim for you to leave with new skills, ideas and the confidence to continue your creative practice.
